I was born and raised in the Kansas City area and have been a registered nurse for over 18 years. I’m passionate about empowering families to make healthcare decisions that feel right for them. I hold a special place in my heart for young mothers, having welcomed my first child at 18.

After working in several KC-area hospitals, I found my true calling in out-of-hospital birth—first at a birth center as a nurse, then as a midwife, and now in home birth. From my very first home birth, I knew I had found my place. I love having the time to truly know the families I serve and consider it a privilege to support them in their homes through labor, birth, and postpartum. Home birth speaks to my soul and is truly a labor of love. I am fascinated with the human mind and body and how it functions to grow new life and bring them earth-side!

I have been with my rock, Ben, for 25 years and we have two human children: Gabby and Eli. I enjoy quiet times, learning new hobbies, and taking our dog on long walks.
